Okay! So you guys appeared in this yours IOE entrance exam. Now being in exam was a headache for itself and now the dilemma of which subject to study and how is even more frustrating, right? Now for those who were able to pass the exam with flying color congratulation! :)

And now let's talk about what now! Your ranking is a major factor that affect what possibilities are there for you guys but that's not all. The other thing that affects is the choice of the ones who are above you in the ranking. Their preferences and choices so don't just assume something and get to conclusion.

In this article I will be talking about government colleges of Nepal.

First of all note that there are 4 IOE in Nepal and the most famous one is IOE pulchowk as it is the central campus of engineering of T.U. Now other IOEs are IOE-Thapathali, IOE-WRC(Paschimanchal campus)  and IOE-ERC(Purbhanchal campus).

Now

Now if your rank is with in this number then you will be able to get an admission but as higher rank gets to choose be careful if you want to study course like Civil and electrical.

Now comes the out of the valley campus. Students usually do not choose to go for out of valley campuses so there is a higher probability of getting what you want even if your are out of count but again choose wisely.

And the intake is something like this,

IOE-WRC

IOE-ERC:

Conclusion:

Now you it's your job to compare and all between these IOE's of Nepal and which faculty to choose. Now if you are to study civil engineering then count the seats that 192, 48, 96 and 48 respectively and most of the students would like to study civil so if you are out of the count your probability is low while for subjects like Electronic and communication engineering you might have a chance so be careful and choose wisely.
