Introduction:

“Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.”
-Mark Twain

The above saying speaks one thing, which is; happiness is in, not sitting there reading this article but is in the rush to write one. I don't think this makes any sense though. Just leave my thoughts to me and follow the article. Today I have tried to collect some of the simplest thoughts of great minds that will surely change your perspective towards happiness and living a cheerful life.

Beginning with my thought, I laugh at my own jokes; I cry at my own sorrow and I smile to my own achievements and that's all I need to be happy and cheerful.  Everyone isn't same but the word happiness means same to all even they accept it or not and that meaning is not clear to anyone and nor will anyone be able to explain it as no one can ever achieve happiness. We are just in the PURSUIT OF HAPPYNESS.

Now let's begin.

10. “The two enemies of human happiness are pain and boredom.” -Arthur Schopenhauer

                Yep! Leaving your mind create stories by its own as you are not writing one with your life will surely not let you be happy ever.

09. “Happy people plan actions, they don’t plan results.” -Dennis Waitley

                Results are something that we get because of our actions and good results are only because of good action and planning a good action can only ensure a good result which in turns ensures your happiness, both while performing the action and while getting the result.

08. “That man is richest whose pleasures are cheapest.” -Henry David Thoreau

                If you ever want to be happy, then never dream of a having a spaceship with good ventilation and a good cafeteria. Go for simple, beautiful things which will make you rich on your own and surely, if you are rich you can be happy.

07. “To be happy, we must not be too concerned with others.” -Albert Camus

                Don't let others could hide your sunshine.

06. “If you spend your whole life waiting for the storm, you’ll never enjoy the sunshine.” -Morris West

                Never wait for anything good or bad. Just live the moment with full energy without thinking of future and nothing will make you sad again.

05. “Happiness is acceptance.” –Unknown

                Learn to accept things. Everything isn't in order and you cannot change it too. So acceptance to what we have and what we get is the key to happiness.

04. “Happiness is the art of never holding in your mind the memory of any unpleasant thing that has passed.” –Unknown

                Live the moment without thinking of the past. If you got some really "not good" or embarrassing moment then just share it with the people then you won't be haunt by your worst fear or your worst feelings.

03. “It isn’t what you have, or who you are, or where you are, or what you are doing that makes you happy or unhappy. It is what you think about.” -Dale Carnegie

                (This one's my favorite) Happiness is not a feeling or emotion. It's your thought. An illusion, that you see when you think well and live well. So never think you are unhappy and you will live cheerful rest of your life.

02. “Don’t rely on someone else for your happiness and self-worth. Only you can be responsible for that. If you can’t love and respect yourself – no one else will be able to make that happen. Accept who you are – completely; the good and the bad – and make changes as YOU see fit – not because you think someone else wants you to be different.” -Stacey Charter

                Be the man you want to see in other and you will smile every second.

01. “Happiness is a myth we seek,

If manifested surely irks;

Like river speeding to the plain,

On its arrival slows and murk's.

For man is happy only in

His aspiration to the heights;

When he attains his goal, he coolsAnd longs for other distant flights.”-          Kahlil Gibran

Nothing got to say about this one.

Conclusion:

Finally, thank you for reading and hope this makes some sense. As happiness is not like the laws of physics to be bound by the rules of nature. It can extend from nature to meta-physics to delusion to fantasy so think what you want and don't think you are not happy and the day you realize that you are not sad you will be happy.

Thanks again for reading. If you got a thought don't forget to comment. :D

PEACE!!!
